We’re thrilled to announce Attestly 2.0, our biggest release yet. This major update brings a completely redesigned compliance dashboard for practices, binding-constraint projection for associates, and official BBS form export.

Highlights

Practice Compliance Dashboard

The new dashboard gives practice administrators visibility into what actually matters — without hour-level detail they haven’t been granted.

• Unsigned weeks, expiring registrations, and supervisee counts, all in one view
• New per-associate attestation status at a glance
• Customizable alerts for approaching six-year hour exposure

Binding-Constraint Projection

Most associates assume the 3,000-hour total is the wall. Attestly now projects every California AMFT constraint separately and names whichever one is actually the slowest to fill:

• The 1,750-hour direct clinical floor
• The 500-hour couples/families/children floor
• The 1,250-hour non-clinical ceiling
• The 104-week / 52-week minimums

Official BBS Form Export

Forms 37A-525 (weekly log) and 37A-301 (Experience Verification) are now generated by filling the Board’s own published PDFs from attested data:

• Form fidelity: the Board’s own layout, not a recreation
• A form registry tracks every revision so old exports stay reproducible
• One export bundle per supervisor, per setting

Rules Engine v2

Our rules engine is now faster and more transparent:

• Every rule links to its statute, regulation, or BBS publication
• Unverified rules can only warn, never block a logged hour
• Full audit log of every access to an associate’s record

Breaking Changes

• Legacy weekly-log export format deprecated in favor of the official Board PDF fill (see migration guide)
• Hour category taxonomy updated to match the Board’s current published categories (auto-migration available)

Migration

Existing associates and supervisors are migrated automatically. Historical hours logged before this release remain visible and attested exactly as they were signed.

This release adds self-attestation for the SB 1024 supervisee cap and support for triadic supervision sessions.

New Features

SB 1024 Supervisee-Cap Self-Attestation

Effective January 1, 2025, SB 1024 caps a supervisor at six supervisees in nonexempt settings — counted across every employer they supervise at, not just yours. Because no system can see a supervisor’s full caseload, we now support periodic self-attestation:

• Supervisors confirm their total nonexempt-setting supervisee count on a recurring basis
• Practices see cap status for supervisors on their own roster, without visibility into other employers
• Warnings surface before a practice adds an associate that would push a supervisor over the cap

Triadic Supervision Sessions

Weekly logs now support triadic supervision — one supervisor meeting with two associates at once:

• A single session can be attached to both associates’ weekly logs
• Each associate’s supervision-hour credit is recorded independently
• Session participants stay scoped to the practice that granted access

Multi-Practice Supervisor Queue

One supervisor account now shows a single signing queue spanning every practice that supervisor works with:

• Associate view — see your own attestation status only
• Supervisor view — sign weeks across every practice you supervise at
• Practice admin view — compliance visibility into your own practice’s associates only

Improvements

• Attestation page loads noticeably faster for supervisors with large queues
• Better error messages when a weekly log is missing a required supervision unit
• Improved search across an associate’s own logged weeks

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a rare issue with supervision-hour interpolation across split worksites
• Resolved a timeout on large historical-hours imports
• Fixed incorrect caching of rule citations after a regulation update
